Tax officials intercepted the import of 11 tons of expired sweets into Kyrgyzstan

In Kyrgyzstan, employees of the State Tax Service prevented the import of confectionery products that had expired. The press service of the STS reported this incident.

During an inspection of a cargo truck, tax inspectors found 4,179 boxes of spoiled sweets. The total weight of this cargo was approximately 11 tons, although the carrier's documentation indicated only 7 tons.






In addition to the expired sweets, the vehicle also contained other undeclared goods:








At the scene, STS employees drew up the relevant acts, sealed the vehicle, and temporarily placed it in a towing lot. All materials related to the case have been transferred to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
