The procedure for recognizing residential houses as legal was conducted with violations.
As part of the investigation into the corruption case related to the land amnesty, several individuals were detained, including the former akim of the Alamudun district, according to the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to law enforcement data, on May 10, 2023, the land amnesty commission of the Alamudun district recognized residential buildings located in contour No. 1352-1354 of the Dostuk rural municipality as objects of amnesty. This led to decisions being made regarding several citizens from May to August. As emphasized in the GKNB statement, the entire process was carried out with serious violations of the law.
This fact was recorded under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
Among those detained:
- O.T., who chaired the district land amnesty commission in 2023;
- N.K., who held the position of head of the Alamudun rural administration at that time;
- N.S.
On March 3, 2023, the detainees were placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB's pre-trial detention center.
The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement agencies are working to identify other possible participants in the criminal scheme.
