The damage from evasion of forest loss payments is estimated at more than 23 million soms.The district akim, A. B. M., is also suspected of issuing a permit for the felling of 475 poplar trees in the Bakai-Ata district in 2024, in collusion with former deputy of the rural district Ak-Dobo, S. I. A., and former head of the same rural district, B. O. D., despite the absence of necessary permits. This activity caused damage to the state amounting to 5 million 310 thousand 505 soms.
As part of the initiated criminal cases, classified under the article "Abuse of official position," A. B. M. and A. N. D. have been detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Talas Internal Affairs Directorate. The State Committee for National Security continues to work on identifying other possible participants in the corruption scheme.
