He is now a suspect in drug production
Daniel Azhiev, an entrepreneur and founder of a network of webcam studios, has been arrested and placed in a pre-trial detention center for two months, according to information from the Internal Affairs Department of the Chui region.
According to law enforcement agencies, Azhiev is suspected of drug production, but without the intent to sell them.
Recall that in June 2023, he was sentenced to nine years in prison. In February 2026, the president decided to grant him a pardon. Recent events related to his helicopter flight attracted public attention and sparked heated discussions on social media. Shortly after that, Azhiev was detained near Tokmak, where he was spending time with friends.
