During counter-terrorism activities conducted in cooperation with foreign partners, a minor student was identified who was considering the possibility of attacking teachers and students at one of Bishkek's secondary educational institutions.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding this incident under the article "Threat of committing a terrorist act" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, the GKNB noted that there has been an increase in cases of religious radicalization among youth recently. In this regard, the agency urged parents and educators to engage in more discussions with children, as well as to pay attention to their interests and behavior online.
