
A man wanted on suspicion of livestock theft has been detained in the Talas region. This was reported by the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
According to available information, a 42-year-old citizen named T.N. was arrested as part of the operation "Livestock Theft," which took place from March 13 to 15.
He is suspected of a number of crimes related to livestock theft in the Talas region. A criminal case against him was initiated on February 2, 2026, under Article 205-1 (Livestock Theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and since his whereabouts remained unknown, he was declared wanted.
During a personal search, two mobile phones, a knife, a silicone mask, a pepper spray canister, and other prohibited items were found on the detainee.
The suspect is currently placed in a temporary detention facility.
