In the Issyk-Kul region, law enforcement agencies detained a man suspected of attempting to rape a minor and stealing livestock. This was reported by the press service of the local police department.
According to the information, on December 27, 2025, a woman contacted the police, reporting an incident involving her daughter, born in 2010. She stated that on that day, around 3:00 PM, an unknown individual committed sexual acts against the girl on the shore of the lake in the recreational area "Green City." It was also reported that the suspect threatened the victim and damaged her mobile phone.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, on December 30, 2025, a local resident named R.B., born in 1977, approached the Ton District Police Department. He reported that on December 12, 2025, he hired a 24-year-old citizen O.K. through the "Lalafo" app to graze 30 sheep of the Arashan breed. However, on December 28, he learned that this person had taken the livestock in an unknown direction, resulting in damages of 15 thousand dollars (or 1,320,000 soms).
A criminal case has also been initiated based on this fact under part 3 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational search activities, the suspect was identified and detained on February 6, 2026. He turned out to be a local resident of Balakchy, O.K., born in 2001.
The court has decided to place the detained individual in custody for two months. Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
