In mid-August 2025, an 18-year-old girl named K.A. contacted the police. She reported that she had met a man on social media who, promising to help her with employment, arranged to meet her. However, during the meeting in Aravan, he raped her in his car.
After receiving the statement, an investigation was initiated. As a result, evidence was collected, and a criminal case was opened against the suspect under Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning coercion to sexual acts.
On August 21, 2025, the police managed to apprehend the suspect, a 27-year-old citizen named K. uulu Zh.
Upon completion of the investigative activities, the case materials were sent to court, which ultimately decided to impose a sentence of three years of imprisonment.
