Law enforcement officers of the Talas region reported the resolution of several crimes related to cattle theft, as part of operational activities called "Bandit" and "Arsenal".
According to the press service of the regional police department, on February 1, a man, a resident of the Talas district born in 1973, named J.N., reported to the police. He stated that two calves were stolen from his barn on the night of January 22 to 23 and requested measures to identify the culprits.
Based on his statement, a criminal case was initiated under paragraph 4 of part 3 of article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding cattle theft. Investigative actions began.
As a result of the conducted operational-search activities, a criminal group of two individuals suspected of committing the thefts was identified. One of them, born in 1985 and named J.R., was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the interrogation, J.R. reported that he acted in conjunction with another resident of the Aitmatov district, born in 1981 and named T.N., who is currently wanted.
During the investigation, J.R.'s involvement in other cattle theft crimes was established. He was connected to 12 episodes of theft. Emergency searches were organized to locate the stolen animals, resulting in the discovery of 14 heads of cattle in the home of the suspect's relatives. Three cows and 11 calves were returned to their rightful owners.
The victims expressed gratitude to the police officers for their prompt and quality work.
