On January 31, a citizen named J.A. approached the First May District Police Department, reporting the theft of a bag containing 8,000 soms from his BMW X5, which was parked on Panfilov Street. The criminals managed to escape with the stolen items.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to theft.
As a result of operational activities, officers of the criminal investigation department were able to identify the suspect — a citizen named A.B., who was taken to the investigative department of the First May District Police Department and placed in a temporary detention facility based on Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to law enforcement officials, the detainee may be linked to other similar crimes, and the investigation continues to verify his involvement in a series of thefts.
The Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek strongly advises citizens not to leave valuable items, documents, or money in their cars, even for a short time, as this significantly increases the risk of theft.
