False information has appeared on social networks
The Patrol Service of Bishkek has refuted reports of a child's death as a result of a traffic accident. This information was announced by representatives of the agency.
Rumors began circulating on the messaging app WhatsApp that a fatal incident involving a minor had occurred in the capital. Later, some sources also claimed that the incident took place in Kazakhstan.
According to the police, the incident occurred on March 22, 2026, at the intersection of Frunze and Kakhovskaya streets, where driver O.Zh.M., born in 1985, hit child K.u.A., born in 2010, who was crossing the road.
The injured boy was hospitalized at Children's Hospital No. 3 with serious injuries, including a closed fracture of the shoulder. Medical assistance was provided, and his condition is currently assessed as stable, doctors reported.
The Patrol Service urges citizens not to spread unverified information and to rely on official sources of information.
