
An illegal gambling business has been uncovered in Jarkyshtak.
According to information provided by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), deputy K.Sh. was arrested on charges of organizing an underground casino. Together with his associate S.Sh., he set up a gambling business in one of the houses in the village, ignoring tax obligations and legislative prohibitions.
During a search conducted by GKNB officers, 11 computers used to access various online casinos were seized, along with 400,000 soms and other items necessary for conducting gambling activities.
Under Article 219 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "Illegal organization of gambling activities," the suspects have been placed in the GKNB detention center, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
