According to the investigation, the suspect, known as A.S., was detained as a result of operational measures and placed in a temporary detention facility. A criminal case has been initiated against him for large-scale fraud.
The investigation established that the man deceived people by posing as a GKNB employee and promising to solve their problems. In one instance, he received $24,100 and 100,000 soms from a woman from Kyrgyzstan, promising to help free her son, who was in pre-trial detention.
In another episode, it is reported that in September 2025, he offered a citizen of Kyrgyzstan assistance in organizing employment in a sewing shop for citizens of Vietnam. Under this pretext, he took $14,000 and soon disappeared.
