“One of the schoolgirls experienced anxiety and fear of injections, which led to a brief fainting spell. Her classmate helped take her to the mobile team. Due to the stress caused by the situation, his blood pressure also dropped. Both teenagers were temporarily kept at the paramedic and midwife station, and after lunch, they were discharged in satisfactory condition,” the Ministry of Health reported.
According to the RCI, such cases are classified as vaccine reactions that can occur against a background of anxiety and fear of injections. Teenagers are generally prone to intense fear, which can cause hyperventilation, manifesting in symptoms such as weakness, dizziness, and tingling in the mouth and hands.
RCI specialists conducted a corresponding epidemiological investigation.
It should be noted that the vaccine's shelf life is until February 2027.
We also remind that revaccination with ADS-M is carried out at the age of 16.
