On April 4, an incident involving a conscript serviceman occurred in the Leilek district, who fell from the bed of a service vehicle during a road incident on the Ak-Suu - Razakov highway. As a result of the fall, he sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized in critical condition.
According to the State Border Service, the accident happened around 08:30 when a "UAZ-Pickup" was traveling along a mountain road. Due to severe jolting, a private from the 2004 birth year, drafted in the fall of 2025, fell from the vehicle and lost consciousness.
The injured serviceman was urgently transported to the intensive care unit of the Leilek District Hospital, where doctors from the city of Osh performed emergency surgery the same day. His condition is currently assessed as stable but serious, and he is receiving all necessary medical procedures.
Doctors are currently unable to transport the serviceman to Bishkek due to his condition. A neurosurgeon has been sent to the hospital, and round-the-clock monitoring of the injured serviceman has been organized.
An official investigation has already begun, and an operational group has been created to monitor the situation. Government authorities are taking necessary measures to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
