As part of the cooperation between the Prosecutor's Offices of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, a round table was held on November 6-7, 2025, at the Juridical Academy of the General Prosecutor's Office, dedicated to issues of environmental protection and the rational use of natural resources, the press service reported.
The event is part of the joint action plan between the General Prosecutor's Offices of the two countries for 2024-2025. Participants discussed measures to combat illegal extraction of minerals, prevent environmental and economic crimes, as well as the return of assets obtained through criminal means outside the country.
It was reported that representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office of Russia conducted lectures for the academy's students, and the round table became an important step in strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of prosecutorial supervision and environmental protection.
