President Sadyr Japarov expressed support for the divers of the Emergency Situations Ministry's Diving Service, as well as employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision involved in the cleaning of Lake Issyk-Kul. According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, this work began on March 12, 2023, at the initiative of President Japarov.
Currently, specialists from three ministries are participating in the cleaning of the lake's waters, combating poaching and removing debris, despite unfavorable weather conditions.
“We are working together. Three times a day, the guys receive hot meals. Previously, one horse was also provided from each ministry. We thank the president and the leadership for ensuring that our workers do not go without food! Now they are preparing to slaughter cattle again,” shared Sabyrzhan Alamanov, head of the Diving Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The main goal of this program is to preserve Lake Issyk-Kul and protect its biosphere from the negative impact of human activity and natural factors, as well as to ensure the transfer of this natural heritage to future generations.
