According to information from the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, the utility plant "Asem," located in the center of Karakol, has been returned to the balance of the city administration. This became possible due to the establishment of the fact that in 1993 it was unlawfully sold by the State Property Fund without conducting an auction, which violates the Law "On the General Principles of Denationalization and Privatization in the Kyrgyz Republic" dated December 20, 1991.
As a result of operational and investigative activities, a decision was made to transfer the building with an area of 4,028 square meters and a land plot of 0.5 hectares to the balance of the Karakol city administration.
