The cooperation on this project will last until 2029
The Ministry of Education and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) have signed an agreement for joint work within the framework of an initiative aimed at improving access to quality and inclusive education (SmartEd, 2025-2029).
The project is funded by the Islamic Development Bank and the Global Partnership for Education. This initiative is integrated into the national program for the transformation of the education system "Altyn Kazyq".
The joint efforts of the Ministry of Education and UNICEF will focus on updating curricula, improving teacher training, and expanding educational opportunities for children with disabilities and special educational needs.
As part of this partnership, UNICEF will provide support in enhancing the quality of the educational process and promoting the implementation of an inclusive approach to education until 2029.
