As the head of the State Security Administration (later renamed to GKNB/SGO), Joomart Boshoev laid the foundations for the modern security system for the country's top officials and key facilities.After completing his military career, Boshoev actively participated in public life, becoming the head of the public association "Council of Veterans of State Security."
For his achievements and contributions to strengthening national security, he was awarded various state honors and certificates of merit.
