The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that in the third quarter of 2025, more than 800 children found families. Of these, 492 children were placed under guardianship, 370 were adopted at the national level, and 2 were adopted by foreign citizens.
The agency noted that each family that took in a child undergoes mandatory registration and is under constant supervision by guardianship authorities. This ensures proper care, upbringing, and protection of children's rights.
It should be reminded that the process of adoption and placement of children under guardianship is regulated by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as by special provisions regarding the transfer of children to both citizens of the country and foreigners.
These initiatives aim to create a safe and supportive environment for children without parental care and to strengthen the institutions of family placement in Kyrgyzstan.
