According to a report from the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration, significant progress has been made in Kyrgyzstan in the third quarter of 2025 regarding the placement of children without parental care. In particular, 492 children were placed in foster care, 370 children were adopted by national families, and 2 by foreigners.

All families that took children into foster care undergo mandatory registration and are under constant supervision by guardianship services, ensuring proper care and protection of children's rights.

It is important to note that adoption and the placement of children in foster care in Kyrgyzstan are regulated by local legislation concerning children, as well as provisions regarding the transfer of children to both citizens of the country and foreigners.
These measures aim to create a safe and supportive environment for children without parental care and to strengthen the institution of family placement in the country.
