In the Kadamjay district, in the rural area of Kyrgyz-Kyshtak, there is a holy place known as "Kalpa Ata."

This shrine is located in the mountainous region of the village of Kalpa Ata, approximately 15 kilometers from the highway Osh—Batken—Razakov. It is also referred to as "Köz Mazar."

Pilgrims come here, especially those suffering from eye diseases, to ask for healing. There is a black stone at the grave, and it is believed that not everyone can move it.

One of the well-known stories tells of a man who had been childless for a long time and came to Kalpa Ata for help. The elder, without asking any questions, instructed him to bring stones. The pilgrim, though surprised, fulfilled the request and brought a cart full of stones. After this, Kalpa blessed him with the birth of a son. It is said that he would have been willing to bring ten carts if he had known that his prayer would be heard.

There is another story associated with this holy place. A group of people, wanting to test the elder, decided to prepare pilaf with the addition of cat meat. When Kalpa Ata arrived, they offered him this food, and upon seeing the cat, he chased it away. Those present were embarrassed and began to apologize for their prank.

Kalpa Ata was a blessed person with unique abilities.
