90% of Kyrgyzstanis believe that the country is moving in the right direction

A sociological study covered more than a thousand participants across the country



As the results of a recent sociological survey show, the majority of citizens of Kyrgyzstan express satisfaction with the current situation in the country. The survey was organized by the Kusein Isaev Society Research Center based at Bishkek Humanities University.

The study was conducted from December 25 to 29, 2025, and involved more than a thousand respondents.

According to the data obtained, 90% of respondents are confident that Kyrgyzstan is moving in the right direction, while 11% hold the opposite opinion.

Regarding the assessment of the past year, more than 64% of respondents consider it positive, and 17% characterized 2025 as particularly successful. About 25% of participants noted that the year was both good and challenging. Only 7% of respondents rated the past year as difficult or very hard.

Respondents also look to the future with optimism: over 84% of survey participants positively assess the prospects for 2026.
