More than 64% of citizens of Kyrgyzstan positively assess the results of the year 2025, according to information provided by the Kusein Isayev Center for Social Research (CIO) at BGU.

During the survey conducted from December 25 to 29, it was found that nearly half of the respondents — 47.7% — believe that the outgoing year was "generally good," while 17.0% characterized it as "very successful."

Among those surveyed, 25% noted that the year 2025 had both positive and negative aspects. At the same time, 7% of respondents expressed negative opinions, choosing the responses "rather difficult" or "very hard."

The main goal of the study was to determine the social sentiments and expectations of citizens of Kyrgyzstan based on the results of 2025 and in anticipation of 2026. The survey was conducted online using the CIO panel and involved 1,039 people living in seven regions of the country and the capital, Bishkek.
