At the state border of Uzbekistan, the combat duty of a new special unit has begun, which uses operational-tactical drones Bayraktar. This was reported in an article by Podrobno.uz.

Currently, 42 percent of the country's borders are already equipped with video surveillance systems, and over a thousand kilometers of fiber-optic communication lines have been laid.

According to the information, "the border troops are fully equipped with the necessary weapons and ammunition. The provision of vehicles has reached 98 percent, watercraft — 88 percent, and electronic surveillance means — 78 percent. In addition, the units are equipped with modern unmanned aerial vehicles," the official statement says.
