The scientific conference dedicated to Turkology will take place on March 24–25 in two cities: Barnaul and Urgench. This event is organized by the Scientific and Educational Center "Great Altai" in collaboration with universities in Central Asia. The plenary session will be conducted in a video conference format, bringing together participants from both countries.
In Barnaul, the conference will be held at the Scientific and Educational Center of Altaic Studies and Turkology "Great Altai" of Altai State University. Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Beruni and Urgench State Pedagogical Institute will serve as venues for the event in Uzbekistan.
Among the co-organizers are the Russian Historical Society, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and Jalalabad State University named after J. Balasagyn.
The main goal of the conference is to develop scientific cooperation in the context of digital transformation, activate the exchange of advanced methods, and seek new approaches to preserving and popularizing the cultural heritage of Turkic peoples.
During the conference, relevant research in the field of Turkology, issues of international interaction, the use of digital resources for preserving cultural and linguistic diversity, the role of scientific publications in integration processes, as well as opportunities for promoting Turkological research in the fields of tourism and media space will be discussed.
Scientists, experts, and young researchers are invited to participate in the conference. The event will be held in a mixed format, allowing both in-person and remote participation.
Following the conference, a collection of materials is planned to be published, which will be indexed in the RINC and will not require organizational fees.
