Osmonov emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic values its friendly ties with Korea and attaches importance to the development of mutually beneficial partnerships. He also noted that establishing a comprehensive partnership in December 2024 will open new horizons for cooperation in various fields, including medicine.
The parties discussed the upcoming summit "Central Asia - Republic of Korea," which will take place in 2026. This event will serve as an important platform for deepening strategic dialogue and strengthening practical interaction.

During the negotiations, special attention was paid to the implementation of infrastructure projects in the health sector supported by the Economic Development Cooperation Fund.
In particular, the construction of the Republican Clinical Infectious Disease Hospital is ongoing, and work is also underway on the modernization and construction of a new building for the National Hospital as part of the creation of a medical city.
Osmonov also highlighted the importance of cooperation in training medical personnel. Kyrgyz specialists participate in educational programs organized by the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare, including the international Lee Jong-wook Fellowship Program. These initiatives help domestic specialists master modern medical technologies and advanced management practices.
The Kyrgyz side expressed gratitude for the regular humanitarian assistance and medical missions that Korea sends to support the population and develop the health care system.
At the end of the meeting, both sides confirmed their interest in further expanding cooperation, including the development of medical infrastructure, training personnel, and exchanging experiences in the field of health care.
