Edil Baysalov: Today there is more poverty in the city than in the villages
During a joint meeting of the parliamentary groups "Eldik" and "Ala-Too," Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov shared his observations on the current state of poverty in Kyrgyzstan. He emphasized that "urban poverty" is becoming an increasingly pressing issue. According to him, this is related to access to housing, medical services, and education. Many families facing difficulties in rural areas move to cities in search of a better life but encounter new challenges.
