Every fifth Kyrgyzstani is preparing for the New Year without shopping trips.
In recent years, there has been a clear trend in Kyrgyzstan towards conducting New Year’s shopping in an online format. According to a consumer behavior study conducted by Ozon in November 2025, 20% of the country's population prefers to shop online. The survey covered over 600 participants across the republic. The results show that about 27% of Kyrgyz citizens start preparing for the holiday only a week before the New Year, while 24% do so just a few days in advance.
