According to information provided by the Kyrgyz Professional Football League, the season opener will take place on March 1.
This season, 16 teams will compete for the championship title: 14 from the previous season and two newcomers – "Toktogul" from the eponymous district and the team "Asia" from Talas.
Let us remind you that in 2025, the champion of the country was the newcomer of the Premier League "Bars" from Karakol, while the national cup was won by Bishkek's "Dordoi".
