Recall that the Kyrgyz team won the third division tournament (Group A) in 2025, which took place from April 21 to 27 in Turkey. This achievement earned them a gold medal and the right to compete in the second division (Group B) the following year.
The Group B tournament of the second division is scheduled for April 6 to 12, 2026, in the Bulgarian capital — Sofia.
In 2026, the participants of the second division (Group B) will include six teams:
- Iceland, which finished 2nd in Group B of the second division in 2025
- New Zealand, which finished 3rd in Group B of the second division in 2025
- Bulgaria, which finished 4th in Group B of the second division in 2025
- Chinese Taipei, which placed 5th in Group B of the second division in 2025
- Israel, which finished 6th in Group A of the second division in 2025
- Kyrgyzstan, which took 1st place in the third division (Group A) in 2025
