"I am deeply concerned about the obvious attempts to create anti-Chinese sentiments in our society," wrote Edil Baisalov in his social media post.

According to him, there are "information leaks that turn isolated incidents into a general, unfounded discontent towards China."

Baisalov noted that some irresponsible political forces are trying to use this topic for their own propaganda purposes. "I urge citizens and my colleagues in the government not to succumb to such provocations. Our people demand that we continue the course of economic development outlined by the head of state," he emphasized.

He added that such provocations do not arise by chance and their goal is to weaken the country's course towards economic development, undermine our international authority, and even threaten the very statehood of Kyrgyzstan. "I call on law enforcement agencies to actively stop any attempts to incite hatred, including anti-Chinese sentiments," noted the Deputy Prime Minister.

As an illustration, he cited his recent trip to Pakistan.

"During meetings with the leadership of Sindh province, I noticed the state of Karachi, where there are practically no Chinese enterprises, trading structures, or investments.

When I inquired why this is happening, I was told: at one time, anti-state forces with external support launched an anti-Chinese campaign, which even led to terrorist attacks. As a result, today no Chinese institution can safely operate in Karachi. The country, having strategic proximity to China, has effectively closed itself off from a powerful source of economic growth, which has become a serious brake on its development. This example should serve as an important lesson for us.

Today, both society and government bodies must clearly understand the nature of such provocations. Behind them are forces interested in destabilizing Kyrgyzstan and weakening the economic course," Baisalov noted.

He emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic intends to continue developing comprehensive relations with Great China for the well-being of the country.

"I would also like to remind you that at the recent summit of Central Asian leaders in Tashkent, the initiative to create a unified tourist space was discussed. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have already introduced unilateral visa-free entry for Chinese citizens, which has led to mutual visa-free regime openings. These countries have gained clear advantages from this.

Today we receive many questions: why can't citizens of Kyrgyzstan still take advantage of the same entry conditions to China? This is indeed a fair question," added the Deputy Prime Minister.

"Therefore, we must be particularly attentive to emerging information provocations. State policy should not be based on emotions. It is necessary to calmly and clearly communicate our goals to the people and confidently continue the course of deepening and expanding cooperation with China for the development and prosperity of Kyrgyzstan," concluded Baisalov.
