President Sadyr Japarov, in his recent address to the nation, emphasized the importance of upbringing and quality education, as well as caring for the health of the younger generation. These aspects should become the core values for all citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

On November 15, 2025, the opening of new social facilities took place on the territory of the state residence "Ala-Archa" in the village of Chon-Aryk. As part of this project, a modern educational complex was created on an area of about 10.5 hectares, which includes a two-story school for 570 students with twenty modern classrooms and a music block.

Sadyr Nurgoyevich has repeatedly emphasized that only an educated and healthy society can build a strong state. His commitment to creating new schools, kindergartens, and medical institutions is aimed at forming a healthy and educated society.

The summer opening of a new school in the village of Min-Oruk, located in the Jalal-Abad region, provided an opportunity for the president to share plans for changing the educational system. He announced the country's intention to follow global trends in technology and education development and mentioned the national program "Altyn Kazyq," aimed at modernizing the educational system and implementing new technologies.

In August 2023, a decree was signed stating that complete secondary education becomes mandatory in Kyrgyzstan, requiring each student to complete 11 grades. If a student decides to leave after the ninth grade, they will be required to enroll in a technical school or lyceum.

The president emphasizes that education is the foundation for the long-term development of the state. "Only in countries with a developed education system do political, cultural, and economic transformations occur. Our main goal is to provide each student with deep and comprehensive knowledge," he states.

Teachers play an important role in the education system. "Only through the professionalism and creative approach of educators is it possible to meet modern educational requirements," the president noted.

The average salary of teachers in the country is 26,000 soms, which the president believes is extremely low. A salary increase to 30,000 soms is expected from April 1, 2026. In urban schools, a new teacher with a secondary education will earn about 22,000 soms, while in rural areas, a Kyrgyz language teacher with a bachelor's degree will earn 27,360 soms. In remote mountainous areas, the salary of a mathematics teacher with higher education will increase from 65,809 soms to 80,960 soms.

Sadyr Japarov also considers it necessary to provide all school teachers with laptops to facilitate the educational process and enhance its effectiveness.

In Bishkek, the construction of 174 new schools is planned over the next 25 years. All of them will operate in one shift and be located within walking distance from students' homes.

In densely populated areas, four-story primary schools will be built, allowing for more efficient use of space. The upper floors will house administrative and auxiliary rooms.

On September 1, 2023, Presidents Sadyr Japarov and Vladimir Putin announced the start of construction of new Russian-language schools in Bishkek, including a modern school for 1,224 students costing 35 million soms.

In September of this year, the construction of a new building for secondary school No. 23 on Jibek Jolu Avenue in Bishkek began.

In the village of Kyrgyzstan in the Kara-Suu district, the construction of a secondary school for 275 students continues, which will include a gym and specialized classrooms for various subjects.

The Ministry of Construction of Kyrgyzstan, at the president's request, has commissioned 63 schools and 19 kindergartens this year, reflecting an unprecedented pace of construction of educational institutions in the country.

The head of state actively monitors the commissioning of new schools and participates in educational processes, interacting with students and encouraging their pursuit of knowledge and development.

Sadyr Japarov emphasizes: "Education and science are the keys to building a developed and strong state. Educated youth are our hope for the future" (Sadyr Japarov).
