Hot Springs
In one khanate, there were three magical wells. Only the khan knew the secret of each and therefore guarded them from the eyes of the people. The wells were covered and tightly bound so that the water would not spill over the edge.
In the same khanate lived a beautiful girl from a very poor family. And it so happened that the khan's son fell in love with her. However, the cruel and greedy khan did not allow his son to even think about her. One day, angry at his son's disobedience, the khan ordered his servants to behead the beauty in front of his son. The servants did just that.
From the drops of blood that fell to the ground, the earth suddenly boiled and rebelled, and hot springs erupted from beneath it. Suddenly, the lid of one of the wells was blown off, water gushed out, and very quickly flooded the entire khanate. A lake formed in that place, which was named Issyk-Kul.
It is said that hot springs still erupt from the bottom of it.
