Industrial growth in Kyrgyzstan accelerated to 12.7% year-on-year at the beginning of 2026, - analysis
In January, the growth was 12.7% year-on-year.
According to the analysis, significant contributions came from enterprises engaged in the extraction of metallic ores, which accounted for 3.5 percentage points, as well as the production of other non-metallic goods (3.2 p.p.), basic metals (2.8 p.p.), and food products (2 p.p.).
These sectors collectively made up 45% of the total industrial growth.
In 2025, industrial production growth was 10.6%, driven by a significant increase in volumes in the food industry (+30.1%) and in the segment of non-metallic mineral products (+36.6%).
