Key figures attended the event, including the Minister of Natural Resources Medera Mashieva, First Deputy Minister Bolot Jusupbekov, First Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Issyk-Kul region Daniyar Arpachiev, Akim of the Issyk-Kul district Japarbek Ormonov, and the Mayor of the city of Cholpon-Ata Rustam Kadyrkulov.
During his speech, the minister emphasized that this event is of significant importance for the region. He noted that environmental protection and the preservation of natural resources are among the national priorities. The new building is expected to contribute to improving environmental safety and ensuring more effective state control and protection of the unique nature of Issyk-Kul.
Furthermore, the ministry noted that in accordance with the implementation of presidential decrees, 98 raids were conducted in the Issyk-Kul region in 2025, resulting in the destruction of 30.6 km of illegally installed synthetic fishing nets. The damage caused by this activity is estimated at more than 3 million soms.
The construction work is being carried out by the state institution "Department of State Buildings" under the Presidential Administration. The completion of the construction is expected by August 31. A budget of 79 million soms has been allocated for the project from the ministry's budget.
This project is being implemented as part of decrees aimed at protecting the ecology of Issyk-Kul and strengthening environmental control.
