The Interdepartmental Commission on Air Improvement Discussed Issues of Gasification and Eco-Taxis

On February 3, a meeting of the interdepartmental commission dedicated to improving air quality in Kyrgyzstan was held at the Ministry of Natural Resources, led by Minister Medera Mashiev and the commission chairman.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, representatives from more than ten ministries and agencies, as well as deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, participated in the meeting.

During the discussions, participants reviewed the implementation of the state service for electronic taxi in Bishkek, the current conditions and future of gasification in the Chui region and the capital, as well as the development of the air quality monitoring system, including the installation and modernization of sensors for observations.

As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to create a working group consisting of members of the interdepartmental commission, led by the Bishkek city administration, to develop a network of electric charging stations in the capital.

In addition, the National Investment Fund was instructed to take into account the recommendations of Jogorku Kenesh deputy Dastan Bekeshev when implementing the project for the introduction of eco-taxis in Bishkek, in order to ensure convenience and accessibility of the service for people with disabilities.

LLC "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" was recommended to expedite the implementation of gasification activities in Bishkek and other regions of the country.
