The creation of an electronic portal for tracking forest plantations and orchards in Kyrgyzstan has become an important step, as reported on March 16 by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources Almaz Musaev at a meeting of the Agrarian Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh.

This portal provides the following capabilities:

- to record GPS coordinates of each planting;

- to differentiate between forest plantations, fruit orchards, and strips along roads;

- to conduct online monitoring of plan implementation by regions.

According to Musaev, this electronic system is being developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Emergency Situations to enhance the transparency and effectiveness of greening activities. It is expected that the tasks will be completed by March 31, 2026.

"Now we will be able to control where and what trees have been planted, as well as analyze the effectiveness of the plantings," he noted.
