He noted that as part of the national campaign "Zhasyl Muras" and with the goal of expanding greening, a number of activities are being implemented. In 2025, 8 million 233 thousand trees and shrubs were planted across the country.
In the capital, Bishkek, 18 thousand 755 saplings were planted, which is 50% higher than the corresponding figure for 2024.
Additionally, 48 thousand deciduous and coniferous plants were grown and planted in the city nursery, which will contribute to the sustainable development of the city's green infrastructure.
The minister also emphasized that greening initiatives will continue in the future.
