The most hazardous areas are marked on the following routes:
- The Bishkek-Osh road (121-138 km — Töö-Ashuu pass; 198-255 km — Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
- Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart (292-305 km — Dolon pass) and Balakchy-Kazarman-Jalal-Abad (201-205 km, 260-290 km, and 326-349 km — Kök-Art pass) and Karakol-Enilchek (45-90 km).
Snow avalanches, snow drifts, and ice phenomena are expected in these areas.
When traveling on roads in avalanche-prone zones, it is important to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
