The implementation of the automated liquid feeding system at the smart farm IWS Agro in Kyrgyzstan has been completed, which was carried out by the leading South Korean engineering company Dohwa Engineering.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, this project has become part of the international demonstration program "Smart Farm - 2025," initiated by the Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency of the Republic of Korea.

The project budget amounted to 600,000 soms (approximately 70,000 US dollars). The installed system allows for precise real-time dosing of nutrients, which in turn contributes to a 30-40% reduction in water and energy consumption and an increase in yield of up to 50%. The technology was patented in 2023 and certified according to Korean standards KS in 2024.

Currently, IWS Agro is engaged in the cultivation of mini cucumbers, strawberries, and tomatoes on an area of 23 hectares, producing over 474 tons of products annually and providing jobs for about 150 local residents.

Dohwa Engineering will provide ongoing technical support for the operation of the system. In addition, it plans to implement this technology in other greenhouse complexes, including the planned 350-hectare Illustrated Export Agrozone (AAC) in Kyrgyzstan.

Dohwa Engineering, with a 62-year history, is one of the leading engineering companies in South Korea and has implemented 229 projects in 77 countries around the world. In collaboration with IWS Agro, the company continues to actively contribute to the modernization of agriculture in Kyrgyzstan.
