In October 2024, an agreement was signed under which the project received 1 million US dollars.
"This new station, with a capacity of 1.7 megawatts, will be able to generate about 10 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, which will cover 12% of the electricity needs of the Chuy district. This facility has become one of 16 projects implemented by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund in the energy generation sector, with a total capacity of approximately 600 megawatts, producing more than 1.5 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity. This is yet another contribution to ensuring the energy security of the Kyrgyz Republic," noted Artem Novikov, Chairman of the Board of RKDF.
