Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov presented information about the innovations. He noted that the changes are aimed at simplifying and optimizing the processes of public procurement. Within the framework of the bill, the concept of a state assignment is introduced, where budget funds are allocated for the implementation of tasks significant for the country by state companies or enterprises with state participation without the need for tenders. This approach will be applied in the following areas:
- culture, tourism, and preservation of historical and cultural heritage;
- education, science, and healthcare;
- events conducted by the Presidential Administration and its divisions;
- construction, repair, and maintenance of international and republican level roads;
- modernization of fixed assets and development of various sectors of the economy;
- official events involving the president, the speaker, the prime minister, and foreign delegations.
