The Ministry of Energy has announced its plans for the Naryn region
In 2026, as part of the reforms being carried out by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Naryn region is expected to see the replacement of 21 transformers and the installation of 6 new units of equipment.
The transformer replacements will take place in the following districts: Ak-Tal (1), At-Bash (3), Kochkor (7), Naryn (7), and Toguz-Toro (3). Additionally, new transformers will be installed in the At-Bash (1), Jumgal (2), and Naryn (3) districts.
As part of the capital and current repair program, the update of 2,015 transformers is also planned.
It is worth noting that in 2025, the Naryn Electric Networks Enterprise already replaced and installed 83 transformers, which allowed for an increase in the total electrical capacity of the region by 39,217 kVA.
