More than 600 families in the village of Toru-Ayghyr gained access to clean drinking water
The water supply system, the construction of which has been completed in Toru-Ayghyr, is designed to solve the long-standing problem of access to clean drinking water for local residents. This socially significant project was implemented by the Department of Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage Development under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

More than 62 million soms were allocated from the republican budget for the reconstruction of the system. As part of the project, over 15 kilometers of water supply networks were laid, and two reinforced concrete reservoirs were built, each with a capacity of 300 cubic meters.

To enhance sanitary safety in the village, a special building with modern bactericidal installations designed for water disinfection has been constructed. Additionally, the project included the installation of 12 fire hydrants and 600 individual water meters, which ensure water consumption accounting and enhance safety.

With the launch of the new system, 600 households now receive quality and safe drinking water. The relevant agency noted that the commissioning of this facility will not only improve the living conditions of the villagers but also create a foundation for further economic development of the region.
