At the end of 2025, there were 19 insurance (reinsurance) companies operating in the country, of which 14 had 100% Kyrgyz capital, while five had foreign investments. Representatives of the service noted that the increase in the share of companies with Kyrgyz capital (74% of the total) indicates the stability of the national financial system and the strengthening of the insurance sector, which, in turn, contributes to increased public trust and market resilience.
Additionally, the equity of organizations increased by 12.7%, while liabilities grew by 7.6%, indicating moderate development. The decrease in insurance reserves by 21.6% is explained by changes in the portfolio structure and an increase in insurance payouts, which corresponds to an active market phase. Tax revenues from the activities of insurers to the budget reached 340.8 million soms.
