In Kyrgyzstan, the implementation of live-line work technologies (LLW) has begun thanks to cooperation with JSC "NESC" and JSC "Network Company" from Tatarstan, Russia. According to the Trade Representation of Russia in Kyrgyzstan, this approach will allow servicing electrical networks without the need to disconnect users, significantly enhancing safety for specialists.
As part of the agreements reached between the relevant ministries, in 2025, the Kyrgyz side received two sets of modern personal protective equipment for live-line work on a gratuitous basis. This technical upgrade was a logical step following the successful completion of training for 11 employees of "NESC" at a specialized center in Tatarstan in December 2025, where they obtained the necessary permits to perform such work. Thus, the combination of qualified personnel and modern equipment lays the foundation for servicing Kyrgyzstan's energy system without interruptions in power supply.
