At a meeting of the regional government dedicated to the results of 2025, he stated: “You have been dragging this out for five years, and the project is still not completed. This is absolutely unacceptable.” He also noted that the irrigation issue remains one of the most serious problems.
Amangeldiev did not hold back his emotions while commenting on the report by the head of the Main Water Management Department of the Chui Region, Erlan Omuraliev. “He stands there calmly presenting the information, while I would have already cried in your place. If these issues are not resolved in time, we will face significant problems. You don’t even pay attention to the weather and the current situation,” he emphasized, asking about the state of the irrigation channels.
According to the First Deputy Prime Minister, in accordance with the president's instructions, preferential loans at 6% per annum for the development of drip irrigation systems have been approved, which are provided by state banks.
The Cabinet of Ministers added that this year the main focus is on supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
In addition, Amangeldiev criticized local officials for the lack of progress in utilizing idle facilities. He pointed out that since 2024, the situation regarding 39 facilities has not changed — the buildings have still not been put into operation.
