
The main importers are Russia, Japan, and China
Kyrgyzstan is actively exporting peas, pumpkin, and plums to international markets, as reported by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
According to information from the ministry, the following shipments were made in 2025:
- 40 tons of lentil seeds were sent to Russia;
- 1500 tons of "Lagenaria" pumpkin seeds were shipped to Japan;
- the first batch of dried plums, totaling 23 tons, was sent to China;
Additionally, a hybrid corn variety "Oktabrskaya 70" was sent to Uzbekistan for testing.
The ministry emphasized that they will continue to implement projects aimed at increasing export volumes and developing international cooperation. These initiatives play a key role in supporting local production and ensuring the country's food security.
